Flexible Spending Accounts

Flexible Spending Accounts

FSAs are a great way to save money. They allow you to set aside a certain amount from your paycheck before taxes are calculated, which reduces the amount you pay in taxes.

The Archdiocese of Portland offers two types of FSAs:

  • Healthcare FSA — Helps pay for health care expenses for you and your family.
  • Dependent Care FSA — Helps pay for dependent care expenses.

You can use the tax-free money in your account to pay for eligible healthcare or dependent care expenses.
